I wear kilts every day. I haven’t worn any kilts that weren’t Damn near Kilt’Em kilts for the last 9 years.
The tactical kilt model is the most useful and the best design that I have ever found in modern kilt design. The slip pockets under the removable pockets have been extremely helpful for carrying stuff that I don’t want to announce. I like the lectern color pattern for general office wear and For many of my forays into the real world. For occasions, requiring formal or semi formal dress, I have the black, tan, and khaki solid colors. The only complaint I have about this pattern is that I wish the cleats were deeper. Maybe a 3“ x 4“ overlap instead of the 2“ x 4“ overlap.
I have found these kilts to be perfect for all seasons, and I get nothing but compliments.
If you are planning to upgrade your kilt to a Damn Near Kilt’em model, this is the model I would recommend.

Light, tough, and a good fit! Goes with my camo hat and shirts as well. The velcro patch area is a bonus, and it has places for your stuff!

Very lightweight. Appears to be made from the summer weight BDU material. Very light weight but durable. And much cooler than the heavier kilts. And pockets! Loads of pockets. I do especially love the snap closure, but it seems that might just be inviting disaster if you don’t size properly or someone is overly aggressive with you. I recommend a web belt as an additional precaution.

The Tactical kilt is just like all of the other kilts that I own from DNKE, AWESOME. The same quality and craftsmanship that went into the other kilts, can be found in this one. When I ordered it, I didn't realize that it was made from rip stop material. That makes it even better. I highly recommend DNKE to everyone.

I expected the same tactical as my others and it was not. Additionally, it had all kinds of white stuff (powdery in nature) inside the folds and outside. I stll haven't managed to get it all out!
