Bought this kilt for my brother as a gift. Even though the color says “gray”, I was hoping it was more like what is pictured which is kind of a mocha brownish/gray and it is!! Since this was a surprise, I had to get a little crafty with size purchase. I knew my brothers pant size (38w) and I knew my dad had gotten a sport utility kilt in a large (he’d actually taken measurements for his) and my dad’s pant size is a 34w. Based on other reviews about your wonderful customer service and exchange policy I ordered the XL. I needn’t have worried it fits him beautifully and he loves it!

He did have to size up because they do run a little small.

I did not check the siding guide because I can be a dick sometimes. But the folks at DNKE have been patient with me. I’ve returned two. This one will be fine. They are great kilts & the service is stunning! Highly recommend.

Love it! Fabric is the perfect weight, solidly made, moves and feels great! Pockets are handy and comfortable even when my phone/wallet/Leatherman/etc are in there. The fit is great and adjustable. Thought I'd need a belt (and ordered one) but turned out I don't need it because of the way the adjustments and fit works. Plus IMO, it looks better without a belt...

Thanks to "quarantine fifteen," I outgrew my previous Sport Utility Kilt. So I ordered the next size up ... and I'm impressed. Similar quality plus those extra snaps that make it possible to fine-tune the fit at the waist. I'm looking forward to donning my new kilt in upcoming autumn hikes.
